Celebrity Cruise Line lives up to its elegant name; according to Conde Nast Traveler magazine "Seven out of the top ten ships in the world" sail under the Celebrity logo. Celebrity is a premium grade cruise line with a grand emphasis on the dining experience, claiming to serve “the finest gourmet cuisine at sea.”

In addition to fine dining, Celebrity Cruise Line offers Las Vegas quality shows and entertainment. The cruise line has recently revamped its show line-up, with twelve new shows added in the last eighteen months. In addition, the ships Constellation and Summit offer top-deck entertainment areas that were designed by Cirque du Soleil that are a combination of bar, lounge and alternate reality. Alternate reality is created by a combination of sound, lighting and visual effects and there are five unique performances by Cirque du Soleil cast. Everything you could want is on-board a Celebrity cruise ship, including a first of its kind spa experience.

Celebrity is by far our favorite. Their dining is excellent. They do little things we have not experienced elsewhere that you remember:

1) A waiter takes your tray in the cafeteria and seats you.

2) You are greeted at embarkation with a mimosa (Champagne and Orange Juice)

3) They still have the midnight buffet! A hilite of any cruise. We recently went on Princess and had first time cruisers with us. Of course we had bragged about the midnight buffet and Princess had done away with it.

4) IMO Celebrity wait staf and personel are friendlier.

More as I think of it...

I love those little touches like a cocktail upon arrival.

That is surely a VIP treatment there but for how much? Can average cruisers afford it? Or it's just for celebrities and their contemporaries? Well, this could be a good way of pampering ourselves even once in our lifetime. I'm thinking about it already. ;)

I would really love that kind of experience. It surely is a VIP treatment but is the price reasonable. I was thinking of a great experience where I can use my money wisely. I just hope the prices are affordable.
