Costa Rica

I've heard that Costa Rica is an incredible place to go for a vacation. Beaches, jungle, sun... nature, wildlife, monkeys... :p Anybody here ever been?

I've been to a lot of places and Costa Rica is one of my favorite. I went to a section of it called Guanacaste. The people were so friendly. The food was delicious. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. There were miles of great beaches and even half-way decent surfing. Sadly, I was there during dry season, so it wasn't green like it is in the guide book pictures. I did see howler monkeys though -- and they threw stuff at us. The only downside was that you really had to have Spanish in order to navigate the section of the country I was in and the roads were really bad.

Nope--not yet! But I too have heard it's great, especially for eco-tourism. Although if too many people go there it won't be so pristine anymore will it?;)

I couldn't imagine how beautiful costa rica can be, but with what you've said you allready gave me a taste of it and now I wanted to see more and hear more about it. I'm sure I'll have a good time if I visit this place.
