Have you had some weird cruise experiences? Like you brought something which you were not supposed to bring or you expected some things which didn't happen?

On a family cruise we took one year my grandfather mixed up my husband and me for my brother and his wife, and we had to sit through a lengthy lecture about our attitudes. Turns out he meant to lecture my brother and his wife, but it made for a really bizarre remainder of the cruise.

We had one day of really high seas - and everyone (and I mean everyone) on the ship was sick. People were barfing all over the place - and the poor crew, who were also sick - had to clean it up.
I was disapointed in alot of the guests. They really should have been more responsible and made it to toilets.

That is one of my fears. That there will be high seas and that I will get sick. I could not imagine everyone getting sick. Thank goodness it only lasted one day. Which I am sure was enough for you.

Ugh. We had one of those really bad days, too, on my first cruise. There was a storm out at sea, and the waves were *huge*. When we tried to sit at the table, the glasses were sliding back and forth. It was awful! I ran to my bedroom so I wouldn't see anyone getting sick. (if I see anyone throw up, I throw up out of sympathy)
We also had a 'porter' who would make animal shapes out of any clothes we left out on our beds. I left my nightshirt out once, and came back to find it folded into a swan!
One of our waiters was from Egypt and was VERY flirty. He kept doing odd magic tricks in hopes of getting my attention. It made some of the meals a bit uncomfortable.
That was all from my very first cruise!

hahaha...that sure was a weird cruising experience, stephanie..haha...i have yet to experience going on a cruise but i definitely don't want to experience that getting-sick thing..wah..it's horrible enough to feel sick on a normal trip, what more for a cruise!

Luciky it was our last day at sea. We were sick of everything by that point - sick of eating, sick of looking at everyone.
Another weird thing was that the electricial kept going off on the ship. Yet - idiots continued to get on elevators and were stuck in them when the power went off! As soon as the power came on - they went back on the elevators again!
hello? Can't anyone climb stairs anymore?
