How long is too long?

How long do you consider too long for a holiday?

Personally, I get antsy after about 4 weeks away...I can't really do more!

Wow, 4 weeks! My wide tells me I start getting all nervous and antsy after about 4 days. It's true, I am a workaholic so I get anxious. Now that I work from my home office though and primarily over the internet, I take the laptop and can extend my vacations. Still, even on a cruise, if it is longer than about a week, I start wanting to be somewhere else, not home, just somewhere else :-) The cruises that have only a few ports of call are extremely hard on me. I want to be somewhere different each day.

i think probably 3 weeks is a good time to be on holiday - if you can afford it!

That's an extremely long vacation ninikins. I am a busy man so I can't be away for that long. After one week, my boss will surely start calling me. So I think one week is reasonable enough. If I take a vacation longer than that, I will surely end up jobless! :)
