There's a lot to see in St. Thomas too. Of course, there are many beautiful views, especially to see across the bay to St. John, which we haven't been to yet, but you can take a ferry from St. Thomas to St. John. Take advantage of that if you can. I've heard from residents of St. Thomas that it's definitely worth it. We also toured the Absolut Vodka plant there. And we could also see Michael Jordan's vacation home and guest house nestled across the bay. Obviously, his guest house is bigger than my house! St. Thomas is also known as a big pirate haunt, kind of an interesting tidbit!

Hello,

I love St. Thomas. The shopping is fabulous but my fondest memory of being there was going to Magens Bay beach. I was lucky enough to win a cruise as part of a sales contest, and we had some special events as part of the trip. In St. Thomas, we were treated to a feast at Magen's Bay complete with a band and lots of awesome food.

This beach is on the other side of the island, so we traveled by van to the beach. It was a beautiful day, and the beach was spectacular. The water is very calm and the most amazing shade of blue I have ever seen. I could have stayed in that water forever! It was a weekday, in November so there weren't a lot of tourists there, just people from the island enjoying the day with their families. I loved it and would definitely go back if I had the chance.

So few people ever get to see this treasure, and it is well worth the trip.

Ahhhh, you know, writing about this makes me really want to go back. One day, I will.
