Hi Island Hopper, I'm really wishing to go to the Caribbean someday and your post that I can go there on a shoestring and still have a great time is very encouraging. Can you give me tips on what to do to be able to go there even on a very tight budget? Like what hotel or inn to go to, restaurant to dine in, etc.

Hi, I have an online friend who's working and residing now in London but he's a Jamaican. He told me very nice things about the place and I hope I can visit it someday. When he can take some off from work I may visit the place with him. It pays to have some sponsor when you're on a trip. ;) :D

I want to go to Japan. Not very tropical I know. Other than that it's Easter Island. Just looks wonderful there!

I have a friend who worked in Fiji and I think, when I can afford it already, I will visit the place. Anybody here who have gone there? What can you say about the place? Is it really a paradise for a nature lover like me?

Like Ninikins, I would really like to go to Japan sometime in the next couple of years. I love the culture, and the pictures I seen look so beautiful.

Before Japan though, I want to do some other short trips - I'll still be saving for Japan, but its nice to be able to have a good time along the way.

I'm not so sure if putting our minds together would be enough for us to go to our dream vacations. But I would like to give it a try. :) I would love to go to the Bahamas. I've never been to that place but I heard that it's great!

We are thinking about taking a vacation. We keep changing our minds though on where we want to go. I would love some tips on going to the Carribean on a shoestring budget. As it is now we will be paying for our vacation on something like a layaway plan. That's the only way we can afford to go.

I would love to see Phuket, Thailand. It is often featured in travel magazines and I like to see it for myself. I would like to try the elephant ride too aside from the various white sand beaches. Too bad, there's political instability there right now.
