Beautiful Beach in Antigua

My wife and I have been to Antigua before and are always taken back by seemingly very low income standards for the locals. Guess we always feel bad when there is so much tourism to an island, and it seems the residents do not benefit that much.

The people are very friendly though and we found some beautiful beaches. We went on the tour that shows you the island by bus and then we stopped at a beach for several hours. It had beautiful turquois water.

With all the beautiful islands and the clean beaches, peope who takes care of it should be compensated right. I just hope people in this place could benefit for all the effort they put to keep this place beautiful.

Like I've never seen any beach before, I always feel like I miss the beach so much when I see pictures like these. Everything is just so tempting, you can't stop imagining yourself being at the beach.

Wow! The place is really wonderful and the water seems to be so clear. It was a picture perfect. I hope I can visit this island next year and I also want to explore the place.

Antiqua was a peaceful place. Of course, the beach being my favorite! I love seeing the islanders trying to sell coconuts to the tourists right on the beach.
I also read that there will be a new resort coming in July 2007. It sounds beautiful. It is supposed to be for families which is always nice for the family vacationers. It's called the Verandah. Sounds awesome.
