This is a very nice site and quite thorough. I wish more folks knew about it. I hope to be posting about Hawaii and New Zealand soon. I've already posted some about Maui.

I'd like it if you added the California Channel Island and Santa Catalina.
I enjoy visiting those polaces very much. Catalina gets visited by a number of cruise ships too. It's one of those very convenient 'Warm islands' that people can visit for the day or a thr weekend! I have been many times and I enjoy it more each trip. I'd love to post some info about Catalina as wel as photos I have.
The other channel islands are less accessible, and not as warm, but still lovely.

Hi.
I'd like to see some forums about the islands in the Indian Ocean.
Goa, The Seychelles, The Maldives and Mauritius are all popular warm islands to visit, especially for Europeans (and I take it this board's open to all?). Mauritius is especially popular amongst royalty.
Otherwise I'd just like to say that this looks like it can grow into a great resource for those looking for a holiday in the sun. My feet are itching already :)

Someone had posted about adding pictures to the sight, to provide more visual detail about the places they have visited; is that something that can be accomodated? Although I probably won't be doing so, I think it would be great to have the option to include pictures in the posts, even if it's nothing more than for purely estethic reasons. Apart from that, this site is amazing, just having the opportunity to talk with so many veteran travellers about the kinds of vacations and trips they have taken, cruises and airplanes, tours and sightseeing etc, is wickedly cool. I'm not in the financial position immediately to travel again, although we are planning on it for the new year, this place allows me the chance to do so vicariously through all of you! Sure hope that picture option is possible; will help put some dimension to my fantasy travelling.

I like the new artwork and I enjoy reading the articles on the revised home page. Keep up the good work!

Uhhh.......I think I've been pretty patient about pictures; is this thing on? Hello? McFly?....
More pictures please.
I think I still have a few choice shots from my epic 80's European tour. There must be a way to post them, though Lord knows I confess I haven't a clue. That's the beauty of technology; somebody always knows more than you do. I suppose I could be a jerk and say 'If you could be so kind as to modulate your deep wave channel interface, we could greatly enhance our inherent synchronicity. '
Don't believe them. It's never that easy.
I'm still waiting for those James Bond rocket hoverpacks; but I'll settle for one of those Jetson's hovercars.
'Meet George Jetson.....'

I'm just curious, why is Asia not included in the list? For sure there are a lot of tropical islands in Asia that are worth going to and in fact most of them are being frequented by a lot of tourists worldwide. And I'm positive that there are members here who have gone to these islands and they can share their experiences too. :)

Excellent Point
Can you name some of the more popular ones for us?

Well, Bali in Indonesia for one. I hope the bombing that happened there a few years ago won't discourage people here to go there. But then again, I know we should be concerned about our security also.
There are also great island resorts in Thailand and the Philippines. I haven't been to many places so I really can't be too specific, why not just categorize them all under Asia or something? :)
