Much of the food here is reasonably gentle on the stomach, and you shouldn’t experience any problems, but it is advised that you are careful when eating fish or seafood!

Yes, I believe so. And do you know that some of the seafoods are high in choleterol? These definitely are a no-no for the people who suffer high blood pressure. And also beware of allergies.

It's the water you have to be careful of. Even accidently chewing on an ice cube may do you in gastronomically speaking.

I can't stomach weird, foreign foods. I have had a problem in Mexico before, not being able to eat or drink much.
That's why I prefer visiting on a cruise ship. I can get off for the day and not worry about eating, return to the ship and eat again.

Thanks for all the tips and advice I have wondered about eating "local" cuisine while traveling.
