Interior Design of Princess Ships

I've been told that several of the cruise lines have really over the top , let's just say, not elegant interiors. Is this true? It is hard to get a firm grasp wen looking at pictures. Any opinions?

I just took and look and tried to book the Celebrity Solstice inaguaral cruise for Dec 2008. I can't wait to see the sleek, non-gaudy interiors. It is a real step forward. Check her out:
