There is no other like it! Here, over 16,000 green sea turtles make their home. They range in size from 6 oz. to 600 lbs!
The Turtle Farm is Grand Cayman's biggest land attraction, and if you visit you will see an actual working turtle farm.
You can either walk around the tanks and observe tiny hatchlings, to massive adults. There are a selection of younger turtles that can be held if you want a photo taken with them.
The tours are self-guided and take about to 20-30 minutes. They are open 7 days a week from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Cost for adults is $6.00, children $3.

Do they eat turtle meat in Cayman Islands? I have actually witnessed a turtle being cooked but I didn't look when it was being slaughtered, I simply couldn't. I heard turtles literally shed tears when they are being killed.

This would definitely be an experience to remember for years to come. I would love to go check this out if I ever go in that area. As far as turtle meat, I wouldn't go that far and eat it. Doesn't sound appetizing at all.

Several sea turtles are endangered species. Some people try to sneak up and snatch the eggs or catch the turtles to eat but this is ILLEGAL.

If you're visiting Hell, then the Turtle Farm is nearby. You can do both in a morning or afternoon. The Turtle Farm should really only take an hour/half hour max.
There's a "pick-up" tank where you can pick up one of the smallish turtles (maybe 10 inches across) for photo ops.
The breeding turtles are kept in a 1,000,000 gallon pond with a beach. However, you can't visit them as they need their privacy to, well, you know, breed. You can see their hatchlings next to the "pick-up" tank.
There are also a couple dozen concrete holding tanks with turtles of various sizes. There are thousands of turtles. (Don't expect sparkling water.)
The sign on the way out of the farm is kind of a buzz kill. The majority of the turtles you see will someday be processed for food. If you want to spring one of the turtles, you can make a $5 donation to sponsor his/her release into the wild.
