Cayman Brac is riddled with caves, some less challenging, that are set up for guests, and others for the more adventurous. No matter which you explore, please be careful to protect the environment, and not disturb the cave residents. Be safety conscious, and don't go into the caves alone or unprepared.
There are many old pirate caves hidden among the high bluff of Cayman Brac. One that is recommended for the more adventurous is Great Cave. If you a prefer a more tame experience, go to see famous Rebecca's Cave, Skull Cave, or Bat Cave which has easy road-side access.
In 1932 Cayman Brac experienced a hurricane, and the local residents took refuge in Peter's Cave during this storm. It can be accessed up a steep rocky trail from Spot Bay, or from a path from a road to the lighthouse.
