Junkanoo on Nassau Island!

To get a real taste of the rich culture of the Bahamaians, don't miss Junkanoo! Experience this colorful parade of bright costumes, and dancing accompanied by the rhythm of cowbells, drums and whistles. This celebration takes place on December 26 and on January 1, starting early morning (2:oo a.m.) and ends at dawn.

There used to be a Junkanoo Museum that housed the winning costumes near Port George. A while back I heard that they were closing it down and moving it to a new location. But that's the last that I heard about it. Any chance you know where it moved and/or if it's been reopened?
