Free Upgrade Offer on Costa

Costa are doing a free upgrade offer - according to their press release, ccommodations with the Italian cruise line’s new “Free Upgrade” promotion. With the special offer, guests who pay for an inside stateroom will receive an oceanview stateroom while guests who pay for an oceanview stateroom will receive a veranda stateroom.

The offer is available on most Caribbean 07/08 cruises. It is also available on select 2007 Europe sailings, including aboard the new Costa Serena, which will be inaugurated in May.

How do you get this deal? Is it open to ALL travelers for the entire season? Or are there major restrictions?

I looked all through their website and I didn't see this. Some of the cruises were marked down, but I must have missed something. Any more info. I had a buddy take an excursion with them in a little submarine within the coral reefs. They said it was increbible!

We've been looking at a Feb 2009 cruise on the Costa Fortuna. The price looks great on their website, but I don't want to get a big surprise! Anyone have experience with Costa?
