Islas Secas is just now coming into it's own as a resort community, but the basic water sports are always available! Swimming, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and fishing are all great ways to have fun in the tropical waters of the Caribbean around Islas Secas, and you can always check with the resort for the latest water sports available. You can also comb the untouched beaches here for shells, coral bits, sand dollars, and many other great prizes that was ashore.

Island Diversity

Since this island does not have a year-round population, there is not much of a diversity here yet. The main culture is that of the beautiful Panama, and you can find it alive and well here on your visit. The main season for this island resort opens in mid-December and closes at the end of April, and is only open to fourteen people at one time to preserve the natural state of the island. Though as the island gains in popularity, the resort will stay open longer.

Due to the fact that this island is untouched, there are so many things to see and explore around the island. From the lush forests to the volcanoes, the ocean shores to the wonderful array of plants and flowers that thrive here, this is an explorers paradise! While there isn't much in the way of shopping, there are daily flights to Panama City for all sorts of shopping. This island is a complete step out of the modern world, into a more simple time, without all the noise and hustle of the world, you can completely relax and take your time in doing everything you would like to while on this island paradise.
