The Island Princess is all about seeing as much of your destinations and the scenery along the way, as possible.
Ninety percent of her staterooms have ocean views, with more than 700 also having private balconies.
The wrap around promenade deck takes you out and about, and around this magnificent floating resort, to view it and your ports of call, from all angles. You’ll be able to feast your eyes on the incredible beaches and shoreline of the Mexican Riviera, indulge your senses in the natural wilderness beauty of Alaska, and soak up the tropical ambience of the lush Hawaiian Islands, before you ever set foot ashore.
While on board, you’ll enjoy value and comfort in accommodations that range from inside staterooms with twin beds, a shower bathroom and lots of closet space, to the Oceanview category of staterooms which come with the same twin beds convertible to a queen size, television, refrigerator and shower bath.
The Oceanview accommodations vary in square footage, and will have either a picture window, or private balcony. A Mini-Suite with balcony offers even more space, with additional amenities, or you can book a Suite with balcony, where passengers enjoy two televisions, a fridge with wet bar, walk-in closet, tub/shower bathroom, separate sitting area, and convertible sofa bed.
You’ll never want for things to do outside your room, when at sea, or just in port after a shore excursion. Work out the kinks of walking tours in the gym, or one of the several pools, some accompanied by hot tubs. For a more relaxing way to while away the morning, there’s always a visit to the Lotus Spa, with its array of Asian treatments and massages.
You’re then set for a tour of the ship, and stops wherever you choose, whether it’s the art gallery, Internet Café, or a presentation by expert lecturers of topics of regional interest. Dining is anything you want it to be, from pizza or a quick burger, to the specialty restaurants featuring regional gourmet menus.
Eat when you want, in the Bordeaux Dining Room where dinner is whatever time your appetite decides. In addition, there are several options for formal dining, including the Provence Dining Room where you will be surrounded with the glitter of crystal and silver, and the attentive services of a personal waiter.
The evening awaits, with attractions like the three outstanding show lounges, a Paris themed casino, or a newly released movie, with a snack served afterwards in your stateroom.
If you’re not quite ready to retire, have a tour through the bars, where you’ll find inviting venues like Churchill’s Cigar and Spirits Lounge and the Crooners Martini Bar. Just the right place for a nightcap, before a stroll under the stars.
