Disney Wonder
Disney’s newest ship, Disney Wonder, is full of the wonder and fun that you have come to know and love from Disney.
The overall dimensions of the ship are a wonder in themselves, weighing in at over 83,000 tonnage and measuring over 964 feet, this ship cruises at over 21 knots. With it’s 875 staterooms, you are sure to find the perfect accommodations for you and your family when you book your cruise aboard the Wonder. With a crew size of 945, there are more than enough crew members who are always willing to help you find exactly what you need, when you need it.
Disney Wonder was designed with the passenger in mind and you will find the same wonderful family entertainment aboard the Wonder that you have come to expect from Disney. When you board the Disney Wonder, you will be greeted by Steamboat Willie himself, standing proud as ever on the bow, and Donald Duck and his nephew, Huey, are aboard as well, painting the stern of the ship. Aboard the Wonder, you will find swirling lines that flow together to create an air of wonder aboard the ship, just like the wonderful, magical Disney movies that it represents. This ship was designed in more of an art nouveau style, and has a more natural perspective. In keeping with the swiriling lines like the ocean waves, you will find a statue of Ariel, the Little Mermaid, in the lobby when you arrive.
While each ship has a state of the art gym and other facilities, a spa, shops, and fine dining, there are also many activities that are tailored just for the young, and young at heart. Each ship offers kids and teens fun in the sun, with special areas for each age group. Children from 3 - 12 will find great activies that are geared to their age group, and run by specially trained counselors that will give each child the time and ability to make their cruise experience the best one yet. There is also a special place for teens aboard the Wonder, so they can express themselves and have fun with the other passengers as well. Children under 10 are given a pager when they board, so you will always know where they are and not worry about who they are with.
There are also three different pools onboard that are all geared to different people. There is a pool especially for families, one for smaller children, and one just for the adults to enjoy. Of course, you can also enjoy those great Disney shows each night with the whole family, and or just have an evening out with your spouse.
