Disney Magic
Disney Magic is the first ship to grace the oceans with Disney Cruise lines, and it lives up to its magical name.
With a tonnage of over 83,000 and an overall length of over 964 feet, you will cruise the open waters at a speed of over 21 knots. The Disney Magic has over 845 staterooms, each designed with luxury and family in mind, with DVD players, CD players, TV’s, and even computer access. You can also request a room with an outside view, to enjoy some beautiful scenery day or night. The Magic was constructed with Sorcerer Mickey standing tall on the bow, and Goofy painting the stern to greet every passenger with a familiar face and smile. This ship was also designed with an art deco theme, from its sleek, straight lines, all the way down to the smaller, slender columns that support the decks. When you board the ship, you will find a statue of Helmsman Mickey in the lobby to start your vacation on the right foot!
Of course, each Disney Cruise ship has a state of the art gym and fitness facility to everyone to enjoy, along with deckside sports and other great activities to get your heart pumping. There are also great duty-free shops, a world-class spa, and restaurants that will please even the most picky eaters. And, to top it all off, you can find those great Disney shows each night of your journey or a fun night out for mom and dad.
But, the ship also holds a great world for the younger passengers to enjoy. Children from ages 3 - 12 are invited to join Disney’s Oceaneer Club, with special areas and activities for each age group where the kids can create and enjoy their vacation just the way they want to. There are also special activities and areas for teens to enjoy and spend time with some of the other teen passengers. From arts and crafts to songs to swimming, your children will have the time of their lives aboard the Magic.
Each ship also has great family entertainment that you will love to share together, day or night, along with some other great activities aboard the ship every day of your vacation. So, be sure to check with one of the helpful crew members to see what is going on each day. Or you can enjoy one of the three pools aboard the ship. There is a pool just for the adults, one for the smaller children, and one for the whole family to enjoy.
From three or four day cruises to seven night stays aboard the Disney Magic, you will find exactly the vacation that you and your family are looking for!
