Costa Fortuna

Bookmark and Share

A remarkable reminder of Conte di Savoia, Rafaello and Vulcania among the notable and well-appointed transatlantic Italian ocean liners of the glorious past, Costa Fortuna magically combines the illustrious ambiance of the past with today’s atmosphere of modern gracefulness and style.

Build in 2003 with a length of 890 feet and can carry up to 3,747 passengers (1,027 are composed of ship crew), Costa Fortuna has 13 lovely decks. For those who don’t want to miss on any of their health regimen, the ship has a jogging track for those weight-conscious individuals as well as a well-equipped gym for the passengers who always want to tone those muscles and want to loose the excess pounds they got from dining from the array of restaurants found in the ship that offer menus that are sure to delight the taste buds. And what a better way to have a view of the sparkling sea but while having a time at the sauna and steam room which renders users an opportunity to see the sea.

For those water lovers, there are four swimming pools including one where people can enjoy the waters rain or shine or especially during midday scorching of the sun, big thanks to its glass roof (so the pacifying view of the vast azure sky is not blocked as one floats in the pool on an air-packed plastic chair while sipping on a cocktail drink) that can be retracted. The names of the pools are Barcelona, Children’s Pool, Colombo and Oceana (found in the ship’s highest level deck and features a waterslide for a more exhilarating pool experience).
