Costa Classica
Welcoming you to an experience that gives you the best of both worlds- the one around you and the one under your feet aboard the Costa Cruise Lines’ ship, The Classica.
The Classica is 722’ long with a 53,000 tonnage, cruising at 18.5 knots, and carrying up to 1,308 passengers. It has 13 decks, 11 of which are used for the guests’ 654 cabins, with six reserved for handicapped passengers. Costa provides the ultimate in shipboard luxury with an eye to combining exquisite décor and views of the ocean scenery that you’ll be sailing by.
On the highest level of the ship you’ll find an observatory that provides a 360 degree view of the world of cruising outside the ship. Read, relax, sip a cup of coffee as you watch the world go by. At night, return, and the lights come on in the Gallileo Disco. More traditional dancers will enjoy the Puccini Ballroom, where each tabletop features a scene from one of Puccini’s great works.
Days are filled with opportunities to take or leave as the mood strikes you, whether it’s jogging, a swim in the pool, or a relaxing session in the open-air hydro massage baths. There is no shortage of fun and relaxing activities to enjoy while you are onboard the Classica.
The food is just as varied as your moods too, with choices ranging from fine dining at the Tivoli Restaurant, sinfully delicious pastries at Il Dolce Amore, or a sumptuous selection of dishes at La Trattoria Buffet. No matter what you are craving or what your style is for the evening, you can find the restaraunt to match it here.
Check out the Ponte Vicchio shopping extravaganza on your way to the Internet Café to keep in touch with friends and family, or simply use the satellite phone service to let them know what a great time you’re having. Communicating with friends and family is easy aboard this ship, since Coasta Cruise Lines knows how important family is.
There is no shortage of things to do and see here aboard this beautiful ship, The Classica. Be sure to check with your travel agent or visit Costa’s web site to check for any specials or festivals during the year when you are booking your next cruise.
