Costa Atlantica
Vacation is one investment every person should consider. While heading off to a dream destination is one of the common options, why not try enjoying the travel as your main getaway? Cruise ships are not only made for honeymooners, but for anybody who wants to feel the pleasure of dining, exploring, partying and relaxing. With the widely known European Costas, your cruise will definitely be a lifetime experience especially on board Altlantica!
One of the latest-developed liners of Costa Crociere is the Atlantica. Relatively new, this was built on the year 2000 with a gross tonnage of 85,619. Its length of 292.5 meters and beam of 105.6 feet, Atlantica can carry up to 2,680 passengers and has a service speed of 22.0 knots.
A lot of great venues will welcome you on board. Each deck is furnished with different areas that will surely be a worthwhile nook for each one’s interest:
Take a glimpse at the La Dolce Vita Deck. Find coziness at the Via Veneto Lounge as it promotes intimacy inside the room with the color scheme they followed. A bar and dance floor on the Discoteca Dante are some of the main amenities in this area, not to mention, this has been the most appropriate nightly live music place to be as DJ Beppe takes charge over the records!
Next deck is the Ginger & Fred, wherein the gorgeous Lido Aurora is located. Here you’ll get to see the soothing Jacuzzi that is graced by a very elegant goddess sculpture. Also, a buffet restaurant is housed in this area plus two more swimming pools. One of them is called the Lido Ginger & Fred covered by glass sliding dome with side snack bar, dance floor and even a black jack corner table! All these and more make up this truly multi-purpose hall.
Up above the Via Veneto is the La Strada Deck. On this part, the Paparazzi Lounge welcomes guests to more interesting dining inside. Make your way to the Piazza Madama Butterfly, an elegant inner lounge surrounded by a large bar and wide wooden dance floor, and a granite staircase. These classy steps will take you up to the very Italian and homey Caffe Florian. Another attraction is the Casino Fortuna where players can take their hobby even over the seas! But then for those who are looking forward to just plain cruising, get into some lively entertainment with shows being presented at the Teatro Caruso located at Decks 2 to 4.
Most sought after in any cruise – food! At the La Dolce Vita Deck is the nightclub-looking Club Atlantica restaurant. This has been the most popular a la carte venue as Chef Marchesi’s recipes are served, so no need to miss out this spot! However, for those who are up to buffet style of dining, Restaurant Botticelli at the Ginger & Fred Deck is just the right one. With its roomy set-up and each section of the area has its own line of buffet prepared, everybody can conveniently have their sumptuous meals! Third of the most popular restaurants at the Atlantica is the Ristorante Tiziano that seats 1,300 guests, and serving full a la carte menus. And like any other European fleet, remember that the second seating for dinner is really late since Europeans love to linger longer!
With all these facilities and spots to spend your days over the cruise journey, no wonder, rest will be the grandest reward after! Over those decks, find yourself snuggling comfortably on one of the 1,057 staterooms as you find value for your money and preferences as well.
