Costa Allegra
A vessel may be huge to be able to cater to a lot of avid travelers’ cruise cravings, but not for Allegra. It could have been the original container vessel “Annie Johnson” way, way back; it eventually emerged into a cruise ship of attraction and grandeur. Being one of the two small units of the Costa’s line, size had not been a limitation for it to be popular. In fact, as it had been rebuilt from scratch, interiors were absolutely converted with the very inviting modern Italian designs as given inspiration by T. Mariotti of Genoa, Italy.
Upon boarding the ship, everybody heads to the Lautrec Deck. This lobby is created with an oversized skylight and marble interiors that’s really spacious. Moving forward, here are Allegra’s prominent must-see-and-visit areas:
Chapel. It wouldn’t be a Costa fleet if the ships don’t have a chapel.
Montmartre Restaurant. Meals in this French-bistro style restaurant are served twice. But then the late one is served at 9:00 PM. Take note, in Italian culture, late is really late! Recommendations here are the pastas served, these are a lot better than other European competitors.
Degas Deck. This part of the ship seats 220 passengers in its Flamenco Ballroom. A huge dance floor welcomes guests in the center and a bubbly bar on the side.
Piazzetta Allegra.
