Polynesia

The name Polynesia comes from the Greek words “poly” which means many, and “nesos” meaning islands. The islands were discovered in the 18th century by explorers from Europe and North America, and although initial colonization has resulted in conflict and unrest, Polynesia today is inhabited by extraordinarily friendly and courteous people.

Frequented by seasoned vacationers and water sport lovers from everywhere, the islands boast of top notch accommodations to pamper the traveler with all the comforts of home, and then some, to make your stay truly memorable. A home away from home has never been this magical.

Composed of Hawaii, Samoa, the Line Islands, Tuvalu, Tokelau, Tonga, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, Tahiti, Wallis and Futuna, Picatrin Island, Easter Island, and Phoenix Islands, as well as New Zealand, the islands offer a welcome respite for the busy city dweller and water lovers everywhere.

Many tourists-in-the-know return to these islands, continually drawn to its breath-taking views and stunning vistas, as well as its unique culture.
