Of course, a trip to an island is not complete without some time at the beach. Santorini has many beautiful beaches. The eastern and southeastern side of the island contains the most popular beaches. Each beach is different. Some are black sand, white sand, and red sand. Others are black pebble beaches. All of them have lounge chairs and facilities for water sports. The most famous beaches are Perissa and Perivolos, which are black sand beaches. On these beaches you will find hotels and taverns.
